Delete your Open Aircrafts account
You can delete your account and personal data yourself in the app, or ask us to do it for you using the form below. You do not need to be signed in to send a request.
Option 1 — delete it yourself (fastest)
- Sign in to Open Aircrafts (website or app).
- Open Profile, then choose Delete Account.
- Type DELETE and your email to confirm. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
What happens to your data
Deleted
- Your sign-in account and profile
- Documents and verification records you uploaded
- Logbook, training and currency records, notifications
- Your community posts, comments, reviews and listings
- The text of messages you sent
Kept, with your name and email removed
- Booking, payment and invoice records, which we must keep for legal and accounting reasons
- Flight, damage and safety records used for aviation safety and record keeping
These are no longer linked to you; they show “Deleted user”.
An account with an active membership, open bookings, unpaid invoices, or aircraft or FBO listings can’t be deleted until those are closed. Our team will help with that when you send a request.
Option 2 — ask us to delete it
Use the email address of your Open Aircrafts account. We check that the request is really from you before we delete anything, and we may contact you at that address.
